Bishop Valley

This is a quick little study that I did from a photo I took in the Sierra foothills – just north of Bishop, Ca.

I’ve gotten back to the small, quick studies to help me keep it simple and, hopefully, avoid too many fussy details.

Back to the Lake

Had an unexpected 2 hour window to go out and paint so I scooted over to Lake Hodges and painted while sitting on the tailgate of my truck. Ahh... luxury.
