We spent a few days out in Borrego Springs. Love that place. I was thrilled to have a chance to see the last exhibit day at the Borrego Art Institute from the Borrego Plein Air Invitational in March. Lots of inspiring work to see!
This one was done as the last light left the west end of the canyon. In fact, it got dark enough that it almost turned into a nocturne!

I think this may be my favorite so far because of your use of violets, blues and turquoise. As a painter myself I can appreciate less detail and squinting to bring together a magnificent painting.
